Japanese denim institution
Mr Yonehachi Tsunemi founded Edwin in 1947, eventually helping to cement Japan’s reputation as the centre of premium denim. Edwin (which is an anagram of the word “denim” with the “m” inverted) continues to specialise in both washed and unwashed men's selvedge denim jeans.
