Mr Luis Castañer founded this family-run business in Catalonia in 1927 with a range of espadrilles, and the brand took off in the mid-1960s when Mr Yves Saint Laurent featured a pair in one of his collections. Today, the signature men's espadrilles are a stylish alternative to flip-flops.
