As many as 200 individual steps go into hand-crafting a pair of fine Cheaney shoes, each one of which takes place in the factory in Northamptonshire, England, that the firm has operated since 1886. These toe-cap Derbies have been cut from brown pebble-grain leather, giving them a textured appearance. Goodyear-welted Dainite rubber soles complete a sturdy design that will work in any weather. Shown here with a John Smedley sweater, Hardy Amies jacket and trousers, Marwood pocket square and an Anderson's belt. Designed exclusively for MR PORTER

Derby Shoes

With their open lacing, Derbies are a less formal and more versatile men's shoe than Oxford shoes. They look great with a suit, but can be worn just as easily with jeans or chinos.
