To showcase some of our favourite swimming shorts, which are currently available on site, we headed to the British coast with Mr Jago Peachey. Hailing from London, where he works as an electrician, Mr Peachey, 32, is a keen amateur surfer and was recently signed to Select Model Management, having previously walked in a few street-cast runway shows during London Collections: Men. Surfing and working don't always go hand-in-hand, though. "I was [on a shoot] in Lanzarote recently, where the waves are amazing, but it's quite dangerous because it's over volcanic rock. The photographer didn't let me go, because he was worried I'd ruin my face," he laughs.
Mr Peachey learnt to surf in 2005 in Máncora, Peru, and has devoted as much time as possible to the sport ever since. "For the following five years I went away from December to May, spending my time surfing in Ecuador and Peru," he says. "The surf is amazing in Peru, and it's pretty much their national sport. The female world champion Sofía Mulánovich is from there." And does he have any tips for budding surfers, besides asking for advice when needed and respecting surf etiquette? "Don't think you're in Point Break and pick up a short board if you're still learning," he chuckles. "To start with you won't be able to stand up on a short board. Ever."
