For centuries, the red and white striped barber's pole has been a meeting place for men in any given community and from any walk of life to come together and discuss the comings and goings of society. Like the barbershop, chinos also have a distinguished and proudly masculine story as they were first worn by British soldiers in 19th-century India and most famously by the American military stationed in the Pacific in WWII. But the common ground between chinos and barbershops doesn't end here, because a neat cut, whether that's on your head or your legs, is a good place to start when it comes to looking good.
