Commander Bond's travel schedule works well as a guide to potential holiday destinations. The ultimate location, because it was Mr Ian Fleming's own house, is Goldeneye in Jamaica, but for a more sophisticated experience try Chantilly, in the countryside outside Paris, or pack a dinner jacket and head for Grandhotel Pupp in the Czech Republic, where the 2006 film of Casino Royale was filmed. The most wholesome destination, meanwhile, is Schilthorn in Switzerland, a fine spot for hiking, and for a lunch at the revolving restaurant made famous in On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
