There is an aesthetic to the bicycle that form alone cannot create. Like classic cars and lauded buildings, the bicycle's elegance is a conversation between function and form – and its value is not just in its price tag; it's in the feelings it creates. For some it will be nostalgia at the sight of an old 10-speed, such as the one on which you'd disappear after dark, creating mischief in the night. For others it will be the promise of escape, the rush of the road and whip of the wind as you flee the city and make for the countryside. But whatever a bicycle conjures in you, it will do so by being more than the sum of its parts. So click through the gallery, above, to discover seven different bikes for seven different types of guy.
