That unfeasibly gorgeous blonde standing at the bar might look intimidating and unapproachable, but scoring a date with her is easier than it looks. It's natural to feel a little nervous, but this isn't a cold-call sales pitch. What you're offering is what every girl dreams of: to be swept off her feet on an exciting date by a cool, confident gentleman. All you have to do is follow this sequence and you'll be exchanging phone numbers, and hopefully, dinner plans.
It's all too easy to listen to those negative thoughts and excuses, but don't take yourself out of the game before it's even begun. Remember Mr Woody Allen's infamous quote: "Ninety per cent of success is just showing up."
Once you've approached, it's your job to draw her into the conversation before expecting her to answer your questions. Stick to statements, observations and stories until she shows interest.
If she's really beautiful, you'll feel an overwhelming urge to agree with everything she says. Resist! You'll gain more brownie points by showing that you have your own values and opinions.

I make a point of always introducing myself to the most beautiful girl in the bar - I'm James (NB this only works if your name is James)
