Anstruther Handmade Bonded-Cotton Hooded Rain Coat
Unfortunately, this item will not be back in stock.
Mr Charles Macintosh was a Glasgow-based chemist and inventor and knew first-hand the trials of staying dry through the city's frequent downpours. He developed the first ever 'double texture' rainproof cloth in 1824. Handmade in Scotland, Mackintosh's bonded-cotton rain coat offers complete protection against the heaviest showers, and a detachable striped wool gilet for extra warmth. Shown here with a Billy Reid shirt, A.P.C. sweater, J.Crew jeans and Nike sneakers. Designed exclusively for MR PORTER
