Heralded as a menswear classic, Bomber jackets were originally made for pilots during WW1 who relied on them for warmth when flying in an open-air cockpit. Fast-forward to 2012 and this black leather version from Yves Saint Laurent gives the perennial favourite a luxurious twist. The detachable shearling collar, multiple pockets and merino wool trims retain the no-nonsense functionality of the original design.
