FAVOURITE RESTAURANT AND DISH
“Dalva e Dito in São Paolo, where I would recommend the fish of the day. Whatever it may be, it is served with a wood oven-baked heart of palm the diameter of a goalpost, and the fish is prepared in a salt crust. It's always delicious.”
VACATION CHOICE
“Praia de Bombaça, Península de Maraú, Bahia, Brazil. Far from anywhere, accessible by dirt road, boat or small plane – it is the chicest, most deserted stretch of beach in the world.”
TOP CITY
“Los Angeles – living there for four years wasn't enough. I love to go back and visit and I love to leave and come home to London. Either way its an eternal love affair.”
FAVOURITE HOTEL
“Hotel Fasano, São Paolo – the scale of the rooms is amazing and the abundance of wood textures is incredible.”
TYPE OF BAG
“A Battle Lake rucksack or a Tom Ford tote.”
FAVOURED BRAND
“My favourite brand is Bottega Veneta , because of the nonchalance of dressing. My favourite designer is Stefano Pilati – he just exudes a sexy cool.”
ESSENTIAL WARDROBE ITEM
“Shoes. I could wear the same T-shirt and jeans day in and day out, but as long as I have shoes-a-plenty, I can always look different and new.”
STYLE ICON
“Edith Head. Her style was so firm in its foundation, it was practically a brick wall.”
STYLE TIP
“Always make time for a manicure.”
BEST SHIRT BRAND
“Stephen Lachter – even if you can't afford bespoke suits, you need bespoke shirts.”
FAVOURITE SUIT
“Prada.”
CUT OF TROUSERS
“The Sid Pant from Carhartt.”
PREFERRED JACKET STYLE
“Going by the number in my wardrobe, I'd have to say a bomber jacket. Leather, wool, felt, cotton, or whatever. My favourites are Balenciaga , Yves Saint Laurent and Vuitton.”
SHOE MAKER
“ Raf Simons Eyewear .”
FAVOURITE GROOMING PRODUCT
“Olive oil. I don't like to use shaving cream or foam and instead I typically use olive oil. It moisturizes, leaves my skin super supple and soft and allows me to shave extremely close.”
DREAM CAR
“A raven black 1957 Ford Thunderbird Roadster.”
WATCH BRAND
“Baume & Mercier or Nixon.”
ESSENTIAL GADGET
“A Jambox by Jawbone.”
BEST BOOK
“Role Models by John Waters. Firstly, I love John Waters; secondly, this book felt like a dirty little secret between me, John, and the rest of my carriage on the tube.”
FAVOURITE ALBUM
“Absolutely no clue – I go through phases and right now I am listening to a lot of disco. So, Got to be Real – The Best of Cheryl Lynn”
