Biography

Growing up in Lusaka, Zambia and later moving to the U.K, Mr Patel is a graduate in Economics who has been working in creative fields including music, film, fashion and art since the late 1990s. In 2010 he moved to India to help develop its first biennale of contemporary visual arts, an artist led not-for-profit festival in the southern port of Fort Kochi. Currently working in the field of educational programming, digital development, and fundraising for the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Mr Patel is interested in the social and economic impact of art and culture on society as well as innovation. www.kochimuzirisbiennale.org
