Biography

A graduate in Economics, Mr Patel has been active in music, art and design related initiatives in cities including London, Florence, Bangkok, Mumbai & Kochi. He co-founded The Creative Archives in 2009 as an initiative to promote craftsmanship and artisan values and was appointed to the team of India's first biennale of visual arts, the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, which takes place every two years in the historic port city of Cochin, Kerala. www.kochimuzirisbiennale.org

“One of my favourite restaurants is Buca dell'Orafo near my old apartment in Florence. Simple Tuscan food in a medieval cantina next to the Ponte Vecchio bridge.”

“It's changed over the years. I always feel at home in The Golden Heart. When in town I sometimes end up at The Groucho Club. In Mumbai, Aer in Worli at the Four Seasons can be fun.”
