As I am never without my phone, what is the point of wearing a watch?

The more famous the brand and model the quicker people will guess what it cost - some watchmakers' entry-level pieces have five-figure price tags. Go for a respected but less well-known manufacturer, like H Moser, and few men will judge you for it. And bear in mind that white gold, unlike yellow gold, can easily be taken for stainless steel.
