This polished steel 'Radiomir S.L.C. 3 Days' watch by Panerai celebrates the invention of its luminous prototype created in 1936 for Italian naval officers. It's designed with the same cushion case and minimally detailed 'sandwich' dial whose luminous paint glows through stencilled-out markings. The initials in the name of this model refer to the slow-speed 'Siluro Lenta Corsa' torpedo on which the commandos rode during underwater missions – notice it's discreetly drawn above the six o'clock mark.
