Panerai's watch has a cushion-shaped case, crown-protecting bridge and small second sub-dial at nine o'clock - all design details from the highly collectable handful of diving watches supplied under commission for the Royal Italian Navy's elite frogmen back in the 1950s and 1960s. Featuring a sandwich dial that allows luminescence to shine through the cutout numerals, it's been made in Switzerland from durable titanium and powered by an in-house automatic P.9000 movement that's visible through the exhibition case back.
