Panerai first developed its eight-day power reserve in the late '40s to meet the requirements of Italian naval officers – it meant the watch would work uninterrupted for over a week without needing to be wound, reducing the risk of water seepage. Powered by a P.5000 calibre movement that's visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, this 'Luminor Marina' design is made from durable stainless steel and has Super-LumiNova® markers for legibility in low light.
