Horsebit Leather Sandals
Since his appointment in 2015, Gucci's Mr Alessandro Michele has been busy reinventing the wheel and putting all the house's recognised signatures to fresh new use. The burnished-gold horsebits on these sandals, for example, debuted in 1953 on the brand's iconic loafers. Crafted in Italy from structured leather, they're set on gripped rubber soles embossed on the undersides with bees and the brand's l'aveugle par amour or 'blind for love' slogan - two of the Creative Director's trademarks. Shown here with Gucci jacket, Gucci jeans, Gucci T-shirt.
