Midsummer looms. In England, those fortunate enough to have secured tickets to the Glastonbury Festival will shortly be grabbing their pop-up tents and heading to a farm in Somerset, where, if the fates are kind, it will rain all weekend long. (Can you tell that we’re vexed at having missed out?)
If you’re among the happy few who managed to successfully navigate the festival’s notoriously shaky online booking system, you might currently be pondering what to pack – that is, aside from the obvious essentials of Wellington boots, waterproof clothing and as much scrumpy cider as your arms can carry.
Any festival should be seen as an opportunity to dress up, and Glastonbury’s historic association with the hippy and counterculture movements of the 1960s and 1970s offers ample inspiration: if you can't indulge your inner flower child now, then when? And, as luck would have it, we’ve just got our hands on a kimono from KAPITAL that fits the bill rather nicely.
