The 'Portugieser' was first introduced commercially in 1939 and is still one of IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN's most popular styles. This watch is made from sturdy stainless steel surrounding an IWC-built 52010-calibre automatic movement and renowned Pellaton winding system which can be viewed through the exhibition case back. It's fitted with a polished black alligator strap, and the addition of wear-resistant ceramic pawls lengthens its lifespan. The satisfying 42mm width feels nice and weighty on the wrist.
