Editor's Notes

Understated is the operative word when it comes to Laurent Ferrier's 'Square' watch. The original debuted in 2010, and has since been praised for its visual subtlety and technical functionality. This edition is crafted from stainless steel in the model's signature cushion-shaped case, which frames a satin-brushed blue-toned dial - a favourite finish of the watchmaker for the way it pronounces the gleam of the hands and indices. The Swiss-made FBN 229.01 automatic movement implements a silicon escapement to optimise winding, and minimise future upkeep.
