Oris' 'Big Crown ProPilot' watch was first developed in 1938 for use by the airforce who needed a precision instrument to help navigate their route. For the first time in its history, this style has been cast in bronze that will develop a unique patina over time. It features the same easy-to-read dial and is powered by a Swiss-made Oris 751 automatic movement, which is visible through the exhibition case back. The army-green canvas strap recalls its military provenance.
