Red Wing Shoes was once commissioned to make boots for miners working on Minnesota’s Mesabi Range - they needed durable but comfortable footwear that would stand up to long days and tough conditions. An updated version of the original design, these boots are constructed from hard-wearing leather and have double-layered cap toes which were created to protect feet from heavy machinery. They're finished with speed lacing hooks and set on thick Vibram 430 Mini-lug soles.
