The Official Timing Partner of Rolls-Royce, Bremont was commissioned to design the 'ionBird' watch for the pilots of its 'Spirit of Innovation', a zero-emissions aircraft which aspires to be the fastest in history by reaching speeds of over 300mph by 2021. Engineered to endure such conditions, this chronometer is made from comfortably lightweight aviation-grade titanium, and the automatic movement is stabilised by patented 'Anti-Shock' technology. A fourth, 24-hour GMT pointer hand tracks dual time zones across the legible dial, the design of which is informed by vintage cockpits - as is the brown nubuck strap.
