Panerai's 'Luminor Due' watch is a reinterpretation of a design from the 1950s that was originally created for naval divers – it now comes in a slimline profile for a more day-to-day versatility. Made from stainless steel, the 42mm case has prominent lugs and a large crown protector, giving it a weighty yet balanced feel on the wrist that's not overbearing. The anthracite sunburst dial features luminous Arabic numerals and markers, stencilled out over a ‘sandwich’ underlay of luminous paint, while the soft brown leather strap will further break in and become even more supple over time.
