IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN's 'Pilot's TOP GUN Black Aces' timepiece is made to meet the tortuous demands of the United States Navy 'Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor' programme – whether lasting months on a mission in an aircraft carrier, or carefully maneuvering supersonic jets like the F/A-18 Hornet. Powered by an IWC-manufactured 32111 calibre automatic movement, it's made from extremely durable ceramic and has bidirectional pawl-winding that builds up a power reserve of 72 hours. Its glass is secured against displacement by sudden drops in air pressure, and its soft-iron inner case protects against magnetic fields, so it's a functional investment for any aviator.
