Taking its name from the ancient Greek-Egyptian astronomer, Aesop's 'Ptolemy' candle has a resinous, earthy and woody fragrance. Reminiscent of the Hiba trees and Moss gardens found throughout Japan's forests, it opens with smoky notes like Cypress and Cedar, leading to rich accords of Vetiver. The vessel is etched with the philosopher Epicurus' thoughts on age and wisdom.
