Mr Peter Bellerby launched Bellerby & Co Globemakers in 2009 after exhausting his search for a globe that wasn't too delicate to handle or riddled with geographic errors. This desk-sized piece is handmade from sturdy resin that's papered and painted by hand to depict 88 constellations and their mythological counterparts. It's set in a handsomely carved, uniquely numbered 'Albion' oak base with a brass plaque and has an innovative bearing system, allowing for 360 degrees of rotation. It makes a truly unforgettable gift for an avid stargazer.
