MB&F
+ L'Epée 1839 Balthazar Limited Edition Palladium-Plated Polished-Brass Table Clock, Ref. No. 50.6803/301
MB&F has collaborated with storied Swiss watchmaker L'Epée to make the latest in its series of innovative table clocks. This quirky timepiece, part of a limited edition of just 50, showcases both houses' expertise in horology and will certainly be a conversation starter amongst your collection. Housed in a palladium-plated bronze case with green accents, it has two sides featuring a range of clever complications - at the front, a smiling expression with double retrograde seconds as eyes which are powered by an escapement in the dome of 'Balthazar's head. You'll find hour and minute dials at the chest and a power-reserve display to indicate how much of the impressive 35 days is left. On the robot's 'dark side', it's equipped with a dual-hemisphere moon phase indicator which required exceptional know-how (and an extra gear train) to integrate into the body. In addition to so many inventive functions, the character has a hidden winding key in the shield and has been thoughtfully designed with a low centre of gravity to prevent it toppling over when on display. We offer a two-year warranty for all working parts and manufacturing faults for luxury watches. Call our Customer Care team for more information.
