The 'Big Crown' was a major advance in ‘tool watch’ technology over 80 years ago, cementing Oris' reputation in aviation circles and as a go-to utility watchmaker operating to the best Swiss standards. Retaining so much of the original’s vintage charm, this revival model is built with a bronze case that's coated with a transparent matte lacquer that will develop a unique patina over time through the process of oxidisation. It has a classic 'coin-edge' bezel and fourth, red-tipped hand that points to the date along the outer scale of the dial.
