Mr Fred Prysquel of Vilebrequin designed the brand's first pair of trunks in 1971 - he took inspiration from board shorts worn by Californian surfers and used colourful fabric he picked up in Africa to make them. Cut in the original 'Moorea' fit from quick-drying blue shell, this pair is embroidered with a tropical hibiscus and has water-draining eyelets. The elasticated waistband and mesh lining ensure superior comfort.
