American newspapers first referenced the 'pea jacket' in the 1720s, and Ovadia & Sons' version resembles the bridge coats worn by Chief Petty Officers in navies and coast guards. Crafted with broad notched lapels and a double-breasted front, this wool-blend cover-up has the same design details of those worn nearly three centuries ago. We especially like the crest-embossed antique brass buttons, which nod to the heritage behind this piece. Shown here with a Bespoken shirt, Ovadia & Sons trousers and Grenson shoes.
