Before becoming marketing director of Mercedes-Benz Cars in April 2016, Mr Rob Halloway held the post of communications and events director for Mercedes-Benz UK. During his time with the business, Mr Halloway has developed a knack of explaining the company’s complex technical systems in an engaging and entertaining way. He maintains close relations with the Mercedes-Benz Club and accepted the Club’s highest accolade, the Scott-Moncrieff Trophy, on behalf of F1 driver Mr Lewis Hamilton in 2007. Two years later, the Club awarded Mr Halloway the same honour. As well as being a prolific tweeter, he holds a full HGV truck driving licence and is qualified as an automotive engineer.
