It’s just fantastic. We tried eight pastas and each one was incredible. The pappardelle was just wonderful, and the fettuccine was divine as well. All of the pasta is made in-house on site. It’s a must try!
You can see the chefs making their daily batch of fresh pasta through the windows of this wonderful little Italian joint in Borough Market. Arrive early to avoid the lunch- and dinnertime queues that have snaked along Southwark Street since it opened in 2016. Plates are small – perfect for sharing, if that’s your thing – and the pasta is, as you would expect, precisely al dente. Try the pappardelle with eight-hour beef shin ragu or, our favourite, the pici cacio and pepe, worm-like pasta in a piquant salt and pepper sauce.
