Situated close to the hectic El Fna Square, one would not imagine such a dreamy place of tranquility. An oasis of comfort and aesthetics.
Checking into the Riad Enija – a 280-year-old family palace hidden away in a maze of streets in central Marrakech – is a truly sensory experience. From the richly coloured interiors with their magenta, lilac and cobalt furnishings and intricately tiled floors, to the lush greenery, gurgling fountains and scents of jasmine and roses in its courtyards, it is an oasis of calm and luxury that can’t fail to charm you. There are no phones or TVs here (or, miraculously, any signs of the hectic hustle just beyond its walls), so take the opportunity to completely switch off.
