Mr Jenson Button buttons up for the cold snap.
Wherever the racing calendar takes him, so Mr Jensen Button goes, which often means the World Championship-winning driver can be found in shirt sleeves and shorts. “In Grand Prix racing, we tend to chase the sun, so we’re travelling around the world going to places that are hot,” says Mr Button. “But being British, I have a lot of winter clothes.”

I really love my jumpers – they have to be comfortable
Equally as well-versed in winterwear as summerwear is luxe menswear label Michael Kors. Since launching its debut men’s collection in 2002, it has established itself as a go-to for those seeking sophisticated wardrobe staples and has a strong pedigree in tactile knitwear and sleek outerwear. Taking his pick from Michael Kors AW16 collection, Mr Button opts for a slub herringbone peacoat to keep the cold at bay. It’s thick knitted construction makes it an essential as temperatures drop, while its sleek, fitted silhouette means that it’s versatile enough to be dressed up or down.

Mr Button’s other choice, a Michael Kors’ degradé-effect turtleneck jumper, is a wise choice, too. The textural contrast of the merino and wool-blend makes it touchably soft and very warm, while its neutral palette ensures its versatility. “I really love my jumpers – they don’t have to be fashionable, but they do have to be comfortable,” he says. Sticking with the tonal shades, Mr Button finishes the look with slim-fit stretch denim jeans in slate grey. Effortlessly dressed and suitably wrapped-up, Mr Button is ready to face the elements in style.
