To celebrate summer in New York City, MR PORTER thought the only thing for it was to put on a good old fashioned block party, taking place during New York Fashion Week: Men's next week. Now, this is not to say that we’re about to invent one of the most popular music genres ever (like DJ Kool Herc and hip-hop in the 1970s), but we do know the crucial ingredients that go into a really great street celebration. It’s rather simple, really: good friends, good food, and even better drinks.

Saturdays NYC is one of the brands who’ll be helping us throw our event later this month, so we thought we would revisit the A Saturday With… film we made with them a few years ago. It shows not only why we have such a close relationship with the brand, but also why they are the perfect people to invite to a party. Watch us follow Mr Morgan Collett – co-founder of the laidback brand – over the course of a Saturday, as he surfs at Rockaway Beach, skates at Pier 62 and rides his bike around the city.
