How To Weatherproof Your Wardrobe For April Showers

As we ease into spring, it’s anyone’s guess what the weather will be like when you wake in the morning. During April in particular, spots of glorious sunshine inevitably fade, swiftly replaced with ominous-looking clouds before the heavens unceremoniously open. Unpredictable, yes, but predictably so, thus, something you can prepare for. Here are seven sartorial solutions to this season’s meteorological whims.

The can’t-miss umbrella
OK, this is an obvious one. But chances are you’ve left behind every umbrella you’ve ever bought. We’d love to tell you that investing in a better brolly will make you more vigilant about losing it, but that’s sadly not the case. The shower-proof trousers
