The story of how JAEGER LeCOULTRE's iconic 'Reverso' watch came to be created in 1931 is legendary. After British Army officers based in India grew tired of finding their watch faces smashed at the end of polo games, Mr Jacques-David LeCoultre was presented with the challenge of designing something more durable. This 27mm stainless steel model features the signature Art Deco-inspired squared case, which is fitted with a 55-part flip mechanism that allows you to easily twist the silver guilloché dial and safely hide it away. Powered by the hand-wound calibre 822/2 movement, it's built with a second-counting sub-dial function and impressive 45-hour power reserve.
