The Ami jacket, Polo Ralph Lauren shirt and Mr P. shoes we’re coveting this week.

Spring is here, which means one thing. Well, it means lots of things, really. Better weather (hopefully). Daffodils. Gambolling lambs and the like. But the “thing” that interests us most here at MR PORTER is the clothes. Indeed, this new season presents fresh opportunity when it comes to our wardrobes, and I am well and truly here for it. As you will see from my picks, below, the items on my Wish List this month are colourful (OK, mostly beige), fun and, in parts, downright impractical. See what you think…

To my mind, this is the best item on site at the moment. I love the spring colour, boxy cut and amazing embroidery. Oh, and there’s a great story behind Story Mfg.

So, a tan suede boat shoe is a touch brave for early March, but I swear I saw blossom on trees yesterday so I’ll take the risk.

And Wander makes amazing Japanese outdoor gear. It works with great fabrics and I love some of the technical details on the clothes.

Colourful. Fun. This conjures up visions of barbecues in the 1990s. Carling, anyone?

I keep on reminding myself: I already have too many coats. But I will still want this trench by Ami.
