How To Wear Camouflage

Resist the urge to blend in with these standout camo pieces for spring.

Some trends, to put it bluntly, refuse to die.  is one of them. In fact, this season, thanks to the likes of ,  and , it’s the print to be seen in – and one of 12 key trends you should already have on your radar (). We’re well aware that it’s not the easiest  to pull off, though. Wear it right and you’ll find yourself, ironically, standing out in the best way possible. Wear too much, and you’ll be the butt of all those “who are you hiding from?” jokes. So, to save you from complete camo overkill, we thought we’d give you a few examples of how best to style it. DOWN TO A TEE

If you’re still feeling a little unsure about the whole thing, ’s slim-fit  is the perfect place to start. It’s an easy way to incorporate the pattern into your wardrobe and it’s storm-blue colour is a cool alternative to the traditional green. Stay true to the -inspired look by pairing it with ’s , and top it off by turning up the cuffs.

KEEP THINGS SHORT

As we may have mentioned once or twice recently, spring is rapidly approaching. So, although you may look at these Dries Van Noten  and think, “well that’s a bit premature,” we’re actually just being extremely organised and thinking ahead for the Great British heatwave that we’re praying will hit sometime soon. Failing that, these shorts are perfect for  up and taking on  with you, for when you inevitably give up hope and jump on a  somewhere a little bit hotter. Pair them with a simple tee, such as this midnight blue cotton-jersey one from . Its long sleeves make it the perfect option for those cool evenings (or warm English days).

HIDING OUT

A  paired with denim is one of our all-time favourite combinations for spring. For this particular look, we recommend ’s embellished . Made from a thick cotton-twill, this jacket is the perfect answer to spring’s unpredictable weather, and it’s back appliqué design makes it the ultimate statement piece. It’s a busy pattern, so make sure to tone things down a bit by pairing the parka with a pair of classic faded , like these from  for the perfect combination of military and  influences.
