Some trends, to put it bluntly, refuse to die. Camouflage is one of them. In fact, this season, thanks to the likes of Dries Van Noten, Prada and Givenchy, it’s the print to be seen in – and one of 12 key trends you should already have on your radar (you can find the others here). We’re well aware that it’s not the easiest pattern to pull off, though. Wear it right and you’ll find yourself, ironically, standing out in the best way possible. Wear too much, and you’ll be the butt of all those “who are you hiding from?” jokes. So, to save you from complete camo overkill, we thought we’d give you a few examples of how best to style it. If you’re still feeling a little unsure about the whole thing, Sandro’s slim-fit T-shirt is the perfect place to start. It’s an easy way to incorporate the pattern into your wardrobe and it’s storm-blue colour is a cool alternative to the traditional green. Stay true to the military-inspired look by pairing it with NN07’s army-green chinos, and top it off by turning up the cuffs.

As we may have mentioned once or twice recently, spring is rapidly approaching. So, although you may look at these Dries Van Noten shorts and think, “well that’s a bit premature,” we’re actually just being extremely organised and thinking ahead for the Great British heatwave that we’re praying will hit sometime soon. Failing that, these shorts are perfect for packing up and taking on holiday with you, for when you inevitably give up hope and jump on a plane somewhere a little bit hotter. A camo jacket paired with denim is one of our all-time favourite combinations for spring. For this particular look, we recommend Saint Laurent’s embellished parka. Made from a thick cotton-twill, this jacket is the perfect answer to spring’s unpredictable weather, and it’s back appliqué design makes it the ultimate statement piece.
