A camel coat is a truly versatile wardrobe staple that will take you seamlessly from boardroom to bar.

These days the  may only be tangentially linked to actual, real-life, scowling, spitting camels – most contemporary examples are made from , or cashmere, which is slightly softer to the touch than camel hair – but it’s just as stylish and versatile as it has always been. In fact, this beige-y brown  works just as well with a  as part of a smart, business-like ensemble as it does with  and even  (we must give a nod to  for leading the pack on this front). Wearing a camel coat with your suit exudes an air of Wall-Street confidence – if you want to google some examples, it’s a look that’s executed particularly well by Mr Stefano Tonchi, the editor-in-chief of W Magazine.
