Introducing the new streetwear label to have on your radar.

As far as power couples go, you’d be hard-pressed to find one as cool as Yoon & Verbal. Counting , A$AP Rocky, Messrs  and Kim Jones as part of their inner circle, the duo are the geniuses behind , a -based  brand that began as a  line in 2008 and has since evolved into a fully-fledged apparel brand. Today, we’re welcoming AMBUSH to MR PORTER, and to celebrate we’ve picked five of our favourite things we want from the brand’s SS19 “WAVES” collection, below.

THE SHIRT

This black, white and yellow  is made from panels of water-resistant nylon and, according to Ms Yoon Ahn, was inspired by her recent trip to . Complete with snap-fastening sides, its oversized shape means it’s perfect to throw on if you’re caught unawares in a tropical storm, but it will look equally at home with a pair of , too.

THE HOODIE

is a hoodie is a hoodie, but not when it’s an AMBUSH hoodie. This bright-orange loopback cotton-jersey number has a string of multi-coloured drawstring cords, which makes for a nice point of difference, and the label’s logo is printed in white across the chest.

THE TRACK PANTS

Crafted from soft satin-jersey, these black and white  come with zips around the ankles so you can play around with that split-ankle silhouette that works particularly well with a pair of chunky .

THE NECKLACE

Statement jewellery is what AMBUSH was founded on, and so it’s no wonder Ms Ahn was appointed as the men’s jewellery director for Dior. This golden teddy-bear  might not be cuddly, but it’s definitely unique.

THE SWEATER

Can  be spiritual? Decorated with the yin and yang symbol as well as a host of motifs inspired by traditional Polynesian quilting, this one certainly seems to be giving it a go. Its oversized shape is enhanced by slits on the side, giving it a relaxed silhouette that’s perfect for chilly summer evenings.
