Why Natura Bissé’s new peel is the miracle grooming product your face has been waiting for.
As any man who has accidentally opened the front camera on their phone and caught a glimpse of their own tired complexion staring back at them will attest, occasionally dabbling in some serious skin maintenance wouldn’t go amiss. But booking into a biweekly spa session so a stranger can prod you in the face while Ayurvedic music plays in the background doesn’t sound super appealing, and who’s got the time (or the money) for that anyway?
Good news from the frontlines of male grooming: achieving a professionally cleansed face at home is more than possible with a DIY peel. Bear with us. Cast all Halloween connotations from your head: although peel is a rather drastic word, it’s only the dead cells on the surface of the skin that get sloughed off – just think of it as exfoliation without any of the scrubbing.
Which brings us to Natura Bissé’s Glyco Extreme Peel. Don’t worry; it’s not as intimidating as it sounds (although it is one of the more effective skincare products we’ve tried). The peel is a potent solution that contains glycolic acid, which dissolves dead skin cells, stimulates cell renewal, and banishes that tired look that can so easily become the norm. Once you’ve applied the gel-like serum onto your face, wait for 10-15 minutes, then wipe it off with a warm cloth or sponge.
Fine lines: plumped. Acne scars: reduced. Dark spots: sent packing. Sounds simple, because it is.
