You wouldn't be the first to get a little lost when trying to find this Niseko hotspot. The entrance has gained somewhat of cult following for its uniqueness, as you enter through a fridge door hidden in a bank of snow. This place is no gimmick however, but is the kind of bar you’d happily return to time and again. Run by couple Mr Hisashi Watanabe and Ms Ioanna Morelli, Gyu+ bar is a low-lit venue with an incredible list of rare Japanese whisky and an eclectic vinyl collection. Open in ski season, November – April.
