New Season: Officine Generale’s Easy Menswear

Words by The Daily Team

19 October 2018

The latest collection of unfussy clothing from Parisian brand that’s known for its attention to detail .

For a brand that has only been around for six years, Officine Generale is unusually well-established. It has built a worldwide following of men who appreciate the unassuming, Parisian nonchalance its clothes convey, and from the high-quality fabrics to the muted colours (mostly navy, grey, white and brown), it’s easy to see why. These are the clothes that turn heads for the right reasons: they are well-made (all in Europe, by the way), are easy to wear, and from the coats to the trousers, sticking on something from Officine Generale will likely illicit a few people to ask where you got it from.

Good news, then, because Officine Generale’s AW18 collection is now available to buy from MR PORTER (we always keep good company, after all). Standouts from the collection include the overcoat made from puppytooth wool and lined in satin, the cotton-poplin shirt with a grandad collar and pyjama piping, and the wool-twill overshirt, which is specifically designed with a half-zip that makes it easy to take on and off. Of course, the beauty of these clothes is that they all mesh best when worn with each other, so feel free to invest in the whole collection (the entirety of which you can view here).
