Editor's Notes

Behind every great watch house, there is always one model that solidifies its standing. In the case of IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN, that's the legendary 'Pilot's' watch, first developed for military use during WWII. Made in homage to the US Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor Program, this version has been meticulously crafted in Switzerland from black zirconium oxide ceramic, making it extremely hard-wearing, scratch-resistant and lightweight. It's powered by an IWC-manufactured 69380 calibre automatic chronograph movement housed in a soft-iron inner case, offering protection from the effects of magnetic fields. It's finished with a IWC EasX-CHANGEĀ® system , so you can easily change the rubber strap without needing additional tools.
