Stuff: no matter how much we “streamline” our possessions at the start of the year, there always seems to be so much of it. There’s phones and tablets and laptops to keep us “connected”, and books and vinyl and proper cameras to keep us “grounded”. Not to mention all those grooming products and smoothies and gym kits that are now part and parcel of the vanity-led modern lifestyle. Exhausting. Especially if you have to cart them all into work every day.

What to do then? The world has clearly become inherently complicated, so maybe it’s counterproductive to advise you to de-clutter. This Prada piece is probably the most practical of the three bags in this edit, cut from a shell fabric and fitted with buckles and fastenings and many a pocket for storing all your essentials away. And the striking design, featuring a pixelated image of a Doppler radar display adds to the adventurous feel. Whether you choose to wear it for a countryside amble or on a Mr Robot-style hacking mission in the city, Japanese brand Aloye’s graphic colour-block sweater is the perfect pairing.
