Did you know? Along with – in our humble opinion – the very finest lineup of menswear you’re likely to find anywhere on the interweb, MR PORTER also offers a small but tightly curated selection of designer homeware. Sure, we may be known as the men’s style destination, but style doesn’t begin and end with the contents of your wardrobe. And a well-furnished home is just as much an indicator of good taste as your suit or your shoes (even if far fewer people see the inside of your home than do your shoes). To give you a taste of what’s on offer, we’ve selected five of our favourite objets from homeware designers including Soho Home, The Conran Shop and R+D.LAB. Whether you’re on the hunt for a housewarming gift or adding the finishing touches to your own pad, there’s sure to be something here with your name on it.

Designed in LA and created by hand in the brand’s porcelain atelier in Portugal, L’Objet’s sculptural homewares bring a little drama to the everyday. Blending form and function, this glazed pitcher – inspired by prehistoric drinking vessels – is as much a design centrepiece as it is a practical object.

London institution The Conran Shop first opened its doors in 1973, making it half a century old this year. It owes its longstanding reputation as the home of stylish design to pieces such as this rustic vase, which has been shaped from crushed limestone for a textured and marbled finish.

Based in Milan, the heartland of contemporary Italian design, R+D.LAB is a name to remember if you’re in the market for elegant, minimalist tableware and home furnishings. We’re big fans of this Trulli pepper mill, inspired by the shape of traditional dry-stone huts found in the Puglia region of southern Italy.

Interior design is the secret sauce of Soho House’s network of members’ clubs. And the Soho Home brand offers members and non-members alike the chance to bring a little of that magic back to their own home. This marble pestle and mortar – inspired by the Rome location – makes a stylish countertop statement.

Bored of having the same old thin-bottomed lowball tumblers as everyone else? The Conran Shop’s ombré-effect glassware – seen here in amber and blue – is one of the easiest ways of mixing things up and adding a little interest to your tabletop decor.
