Tetsu - Men's Style Council Place

Feeding New Yorkers’ insatiable appetites for good Japanese food is TriBeCa restaurant Tetsu, a sibling to the renowned Masa nearby. The name Tetsu (meaning iron in Japanese) pays tribute to the cast-iron structure of the building it’s housed in, which was built in the 1860s. The menu is based around the Japanese method of cooking, meaning food cooked on hot charcoals. Dishes, such as cod roe fish pasta and spicy goma pork chow mein are served ‘family style’ – aka designed to be shared.
