Haute-cuisine and serious art come together at this fine French restaurant in Hong Kong’s colourful Sheung Wan district. It’s mega-trendy, self-consciously so, with imposing works from the likes of Banksy, Mr Damien Hirst and Mr Jeff Koons keeping watch over the dining room. Much like the exhibits, the menu begs a good long look: from the celeriac risotto with mango and truffle to the pigeon with brussels sprouts and anchovies, this is creative food to satisfy both mind and stomach.

Get there early and hang out at the bar, as it’s reminiscent of a Parisian neighbourhood wine bar, but much cooler.
